Michael Novy

Michael Novy is a bodyboarder native of the Sunshine Coast. He started doing bodyboarding at the age of 12. Early influences of his favorite riders (Ryan Hardy, Mike Stewart, Bruce Johnno) have shaped his style.

He now lives in the Central Coast of NSW (Sydney).
It is sponsored by NMD Bodyboards, Wetsuits Agent 18, Inverted Bodyboard Shop, Unit Clothing Company and Stealth Accessories.

He has won numerous competitions and is ranked on numerous international event (Champion of the state of Queensland, Australia ranked second, seventh at Pipeline).
It was also ranked 8th in the Riptide Peer Poll 2009.
